Shipping & Returns Policy

At BJJ Gis, we are committed to ensuring your custom combatwear reaches you efficiently and securely. Because we handle large-scale, custom B2B manufacturing, our shipping and return processes are tailored to the professional needs of academy owners and brands.

1. Manufacturing & Shipping Timelines

Because every piece of gear we produce is custom-made to your specific requirements, our workflow is divided into two phases: Production and Transit.

  • Production Lead Time: Once your design is approved and payment is confirmed, production usually takes between [Insert Time, e.g., 4–8 weeks], depending on order size and complexity (e.g., custom embroidery vs. sublimation).
  • Shipping Transit: Once your order passes our final quality audit, it is dispatched via our logistics partners. Transit times vary by destination:
    • Air Freight (Express): 8-10 days for urgent restocking.
    • Sea Freight (Standard):30-45 days for bulk wholesale orders.

Note: Shipping estimates are provided upon order confirmation. While we work with reliable carriers, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by international customs, port congestion, or carrier-related issues.

2. International Shipping & Customs

We ship globally to academies and brands. Please be aware of the following:

  • Duties & Taxes: All international shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the client and are not included in your manufacturing quote.
  • Documentation: We provide all necessary commercial invoices and packing lists to facilitate smooth customs clearance. If your country requires specific documentation (e.g., Certificates of Origin), please notify our team during the order phase.

3. Shipping Damage & Claims

While we take every precaution to pack your order securely, we advise the following:

  1. Inspection: Upon delivery, please inspect your packages immediately.
  2. Reporting: If you notice external damage to the packaging, please document it with photos before opening.
  3. Timeframe: Any claims regarding damaged goods must be reported to info@bjjgis.com within 5 business days of delivery.

4. Returns & Defect Policy

Given that our products are manufactured to your unique specifications (custom logos, colors, and sizing), we cannot offer returns for “change of mind” requests or incorrect sizing if the production followed your approved tech pack.

However, we stand by our quality. We will accept a return or offer a replacement if:

  • Manufacturing Defects: The product has a flaw caused by production (e.g., loose stitching, incorrect logo placement, or fabric failure).
  • Damage in Transit: The goods were damaged due to improper packaging (if validated by our logistics audit).

How to initiate a claim:

  1. Email info@bjjgis.com with your order number.
  2. Include high-resolution photos of the defect.
  3. Our quality team will review the claim and provide a resolution (re-production, credit, or partial refund) within 5 business days.
5. Order Cancellations
  • Before Production: If you cancel an order before design/material procurement has begun, you may be eligible for a refund minus administrative/design fees.
  • After Production Starts: Once your order enters the production cycle, it cannot be canceled as materials have been cut and customized to your brand.
